This is a lovely walk to combine with a visit to the historic centre of Bolzano. The route is completely flat and runs in both directions along the banks of the Talvera river from the historic centre to the entrance to the Sarentina valley. As we walk along the Talvera river, we can admire some of the most famous castles in the Bolzano basin, with a superb view of the Rosengarten group of the Dolomites in the background.

CASTEL MARECCIO - CASTEL SANT'ANTONIO - CASTEL RONCOLO - CASTEL NOVALE, but also CASTEL SARENTINO, CASTEL GUNCINA and the famous Roman Tower will frame this wonderful walk, which is beautiful in all seasons.
